Eric is a great agent! He helped us to find a new home in Burlingame. We had met him a couple times as his group hosted several open houses at homes that we were considering. My wife and I were somewhat new to the immediate area, and Eric helped us to understand the different neighborhoods from Millbrae to Foster City. He is patient, thoughtful and diligent. He grew up in the area and his local knowledge was really insightful. Most importantly to us, Eric never wasted our time. We had both purchased homes separately in the past but never as a couple, and Eric was able to manage working with both of us despite our different styles and was great about balancing both of our needs. He did an amazing job of listening to our priorities and helping us to understand how to rank them given the current market conditions. After we had visited many open houses on our own, Eric was very efficient in narrowing our choices and allowing us to ultimately make the best decision for ourselves. We had already invested a lot of our time looking on our own, and Eric really made our process more productive including being able to tell us about homes that met our criteria but hadn't been listed yet or that had just been delisted or sold. He was never pushy and was clear in expressing both his own opinions and objective market information. We also found his advice and professional network invaluable when it came to our negotiations. We had been concerned that his group is often used as a selling agent in the area and that might bias his opinion, even if unintentionally. With the benefit of hindsight, I think we couldn't have worked with a better buying agent. We ended up finding just what we were looking for and couldn't be happier.
